How to STOP Desktop Notifications for Google Chrome

I am a Google guy and for the most part everything I do goes back to Google. Come on I mean they make life Easy for me. But the one thing that really annoys me when I open Google Chrome I get all these Notifications about Facebook, YouTube and every other site (that Yes, I do browse often) but everything on its time. So how do I stop Desktop Notifications on Google Chrome.

Open Google Chrome

In the Top Right corner of Chrome Click on the Three Vertical Dots.

Google Chrome

Look to the bottom of the Menu for Settings and select it.

On the Right side of the Screen select Privacy and Security

Then Select Site Settings, this is where all the Magic Happens:

Under Permissions you will see a few different requests a Website will request access to and the Default action set for each one.

Notifications

If you want to increase your privacy this one of the places I would definitely have a look at. For our purposes we going to choose Notifications.

There is three things we need to have a look at here.

Firstly, do we want any site to be able to send Notification, A simple slider will turn this Off or On.
With this if you want to Enable: Use quieter messaging (blocks notification prompts from interrupting you).

Google Chrome
Notifications

According to Google support, this works as follows:
You won’t get notifications after you ignore multiple notifications from a site, or if other users typically don’t allow notifications from a site.

The Second and Third options is the block and allow options.

Notificiations

As per the above picture anything you put in block wont allow Notifications to be sent, and everything in allow will be allowed to send notifications.

You might have much more there and depending on what you chose initially when visiting the site it will show here.
